Vietnam’s E-commerce Logistics Market Is Changing Rapidly
Vietnam’s e-commerce logistics market is changing rapidly.
Shopee and TikTok Shop have become dominant platforms and now control a large share of orders in the market. As a result, many logistics companies have lost control over pricing and customer demand.
While a few large logistics companies have managed to maintain their market position, many transportation and logistics firms are facing rising fuel and labor costs. At the same time, the number of orders from e-commerce platforms has declined.
Moreover, many sellers no longer rely solely on e-commerce platforms because of high commission fees and new regulations. To reduce risks, logistics companies are seeking customers outside major platforms and diversifying their customer base.
For example, Ninja Van has shifted its focus toward the B2B sector and cross-border logistics services. In the future, logistics companies will need to balance their dependence on the e-commerce market with business customers in order to maintain sustainable growth.
